This time leclerc and the non-profit organization Return to Sender are holding a very meaningful event! We will purchase a selection of handmade glass bead bracelets from women in Nepal at a reasonable price to support them in their efforts to send their children to school and meet their living expenses with their fine craftsmanship.
What is Return to Sender?
Return to Sender was founded by Katja Schuurman in 2006. In Katja's travels, she discovered that the world's poorest people are not lacking in will and talent, but in opportunity and possibility. She has also discovered that fair trade is the engine behind sustainable development. At that moment, Return to Sender was founded, and has been working for years to provide employment opportunities for women in the world's poorest regions, so that "earnings can be returned to the maker" (Return to Sender), helping them to break out of the vicious cycle of poverty.

Return to Sender strives to contribute to fair trade by providing good working conditions that allow women in poor areas to live decent lives. The organization pays all producers a generous "living wage" (above the minimum wage) and works in accordance with fair trade rules to create better living conditions for its employees.
What is a "living wage"?
A living wage is the wage that employees receive during a standard workweek. It is indeed enough to provide a decent standard of living for workers and their families. This covers "housing," "health care," "education," "transportation," "food," "living needs," and as a reserve. This allows our employees to have a secure life in all areas.
In addition, Return to Sender works with local partners to provide financial training to employees, allowing them to participate personally in the entire living wage program. This provides employees with a deeper understanding of money management, spending and saving, and educates people in poor areas about the concept of money at its roots.
Over the years, thousands of women have benefited from the Fair Trade program to improve their standard of living.
Therefore, every purchase you make is not only to bring quality products to your loved ones, but also to spread kindness and support to the poorest areas in the world. We can work together to "make all the difference" and bring a little change to the world, so that Nepalese women can earn a living from their handicrafts to send their children to school. Over the years, Return to Sender has helped more than 1,000 women to have a better life.
Women from various areas who are suffered from poverty are able to earn money for their families through their craftmanship.
Return to Sender works with manufacturers to create a beautiful collection of handmade home decor, gifts and fashion products inspired by local techniques and materials, as well as the designer's sense of color and shape. In this way, two worlds are blended into one unique product, creating a unique, handcrafted piece with a special story.

The glass bead bracelets given away at this Mother's Day event are handmade by the Nepalese women at Return to Sender to support their children's schooling and living expenses.
Now, from May 10 to May 24, when you buy any leclerc stroller with any two leclerc accessories, you will receive two handmade glass bead bracelets (original price: €39.9) as a token of appreciation for the mothers' hard work in taking care of their children and for the handcraft and family care of the Nepalese mothers from Return to Sender.
